Foodie Call was built on a lifelong passion for food, hospitality, and bringing people together.
Before launching Foodie Call in 2018, Chef Brandy spent over two decades building and running Pastabilities, a beloved Greensboro restaurant known for its welcoming atmosphere and flavorful dishes. Those 24 years laid the foundation for what Foodie Call is today, personal, reliable, and rooted in genuine hospitality.
After formally completing culinary training at Guilford Technical Community College (Class of 2018), Chef Brandy expanded her vision beyond the restaurant and into more personalized, experience-driven dining.
She has also been part of Reto's Kitchen since 2017, a program dedicated to empowering individuals through culinary training and hands-on kitchen experience—further reflecting her passion for both food and community impact.
That vision ultimately became Foodie Call of the Triad—bringing chef-quality meals directly to homes, events, and celebrations with a more personal touch.
Chef Brandy, as a Greensboro native, brings a rare blend of real-world experience, formal culinary training, and a genuine passion for hospitality to every experience she creates.
Her approach to food is both refined and approachable—thoughtfully crafted dishes that highlight fresh ingredients, balanced flavors, and beautiful presentation without ever feeling overcomplicated. Every menu is designed with intention, ensuring each guest enjoys not just a meal, but a memorable experience.

When she’s not in the kitchen, Chef Brandy enjoys spending time outdoors. You’ll often find her gardening, working in the yard, fishing, or enjoying time at the beach.
At home, life is just as full and lively—shared with her dogs, Walker and Buster, and a flock of chickens with personalities as big as their names: Reba, Loretta, Patsy, Winifred, Opal, Onyx, Clementine, and Eunice.
This balance of creativity, nature, and home life is what inspires the warmth and authenticity behind every Foodie Call experience.
